What do I need to send for an expansion, distalization or metals case?

The answer

Please provide complete anterior and posterior anatomy of the arch where the appliance will be placed. We also strongly recommend providing the opposing arch when the appliance includes acrylic over the occlusal surface, such as a bonded expander, or when we need to check the occlusion for potential interferences, such as with a habit crib.

Spacers may be placed after the scan or impression is taken. A bite is only necessary when centric occlusion cannot be clearly determined.
