The MORA

The MORA appliance, also called the Gelb, is a lower splint that repositions the mandible forward, with two acrylic halves joined by a heavy lingual bar.

Splints

The MORA

The Gelb bar connects the two poured acrylic sections, and a pair of ball clasps retains the splint. The occlusal surfaces are built to the bite record you send. If the patient is in active treatment, we leave brackets and hardware on unless your Rx asks us to remove them.

Questions about the MORA.
