What do I need to send for a Hawley retainer case?

The answer

Complete anterior and posterior anatomy of the arch the appliance will be made on. Palatal anatomy is required for upper Hawley retainers. We strongly suggest sending the opposing arch when you’re asking for bite planes, habit cribs or pontics. A bite is only needed if centric occlusion isn’t obvious. Be sure to reference our acrylic color guide and include the color when submitting your case in SmileSync.

We strongly recommend removing all wires and bands before taking a scan or impression. If they need to be removed by our lab, an additional fee will apply.
