The M4 Herbst is our low-profile telescoping Herbst mechanism with up to 40 degrees of lateral movement and up to 64 mm of maximal incisal opening.

Class II Correction

Specialty M4® Herbst

You can activate the M4 without removing it from the mouth, and the telescope won't come apart. We recommend it with AppleCore screws and pivots. It's often built with a 12 mm RPE screw, which usually gives enough expansion to balance the arches during Herbst wear.

Anchorage

Choose bands, ROC crowns, crowns or OnBRACE®. Note OnBRACE® on the Rx.

Upper expansion

Add a 12 mm RPE screw, a mini-expander or a click screw.

Lower lingual arch

Included without loops. Add loops if you want them.

Add-ons

Add a TPA, quad helix, occlusal rests, archwire tubes or lingual seating lugs.
