Aligners and positioners are removable clear appliances for aligning and finishing. The range is Clear Image® Aligners for alignment, plus two clear vinyl positioners for finishing: the iFinisher® and the Vinyl Positioner.

What do aligners and positioners solve?

Aligners correct minor to intermediate anterior misalignment. Positioners handle the end of treatment, closing slight spaces, correcting minor rotations and buccolingual discrepancies, and settling the bite after debond.

Questions about aligners and positioners.

Prescribe the iFinisher® when slight spaces, minor rotations or buccolingual discrepancies still need correcting. Prescribe the Vinyl Positioner when the case mainly needs final detailing and settling after debond.

Yes, for the iFinisher®. We build it from your STL files and remove brackets and attachments digitally, so a scan taken before debond still works.

Three or five airholes, serrations and ball clasps. For articulation, choose an average bite opening or a gnathological setup on SAM, Denar or Panadent.

For Clear Image® Aligners, upper and lower digital scans with your treatment goals marked on the Rx. For a positioner, upper and lower scans or models with a bite registration, taken close to debond for the Vinyl Positioner.

Order refinement aligners. Patients respond to aligner therapy differently, and refining at the end of treatment is common.

For slight spaces and minor rotations, yes. With one iFinisher®, you can move an aligner patient to part-time wear and refine without ordering more trays.
