What do I need to send for a functional appliance case?

The answer

Please provide complete anterior and posterior anatomy of both arches, as most functional appliances require articulation or include occlusal acrylic.

The bite should accurately capture the anterior-posterior, transverse, and vertical position you want reflected in the finished appliance. Digital bites are also accepted. If you’re sending physical models, please trim the backs to the construction bite.

Acrylic color options are also available for functional appliances.
