Retainers.
Active and passive retainers, from Hawley to fixed lingual to invisible, made to your Rx.
Removable, fixed or clear.
Retainers come in three families: removable designs built on the Hawley, fixed lingual retainers bonded to the anterior teeth, and clear retainers in Zendura. Removable designs can be passive, holding the result, or active, closing small spaces and correcting minor rotations during retention.
- Circumferential designs that let the teeth settle
- Fixed retainers ready to bond on the day of debond
- Zendura .030 standard, with .040 on request
- Acrylic colors and designs from our standard range
What do retainers solve?
Retainers hold the result once active treatment ends and guard against anterior shifting after debond. Circumferential designs let the posterior teeth settle into occlusion, and spring designs correct minor rotations and close small diastemas without going back into brackets.
- Anterior shifting after the braces come off
- Posterior settling after extraction treatment
- Minor rotations and small diastemas
- Mild anterior relapse or crowding after treatment
